WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO GET THIS FROM A CLASSROOM?

 

As a teacher, you are an educator. I am sure you would want to see your children grow up and change the world for the better. The children need to be taught this information in a     bias-free environment, so they can actually learn and not take their parents prejudice with them. If you can show these students a side to minorities they have never known; it could change their lives and the world. 

 

With this course, you are not just giving them information that can only be applied in certain situations; you are giving them real everyday life skills. They will be knowledgeable about many diverse backgrounds and will know how to be respectful to people that are different than them. With this course you are also opening an oppurtunity to learn from the students as well. They could provide a new perspective that maybe you have never thought about, or they could be a part of that culture and could give you new and useful information. I urge you to give this course a chance and maybe you too will make a difference.
